Catalog NOMAD

Am finalizat download-ul intregului catalog NOMAD.

The Naval Observatory Merged Astrometric Dataset (NOMAD) contains astrometric and photometric data for over 1 billion stars derived from the Hipparcos , Tycho-2 , UCAC2 , and USNO-B1.0 catalogs for astrometry and optical photometry, supplemented by 2MASS near-infrared photometry.

Este disponibil ca torrent si insumeaza circa 25 GB arhivati, in forma citibila are circa 152 GB.
Pot pune la dispozitie in numar limitat pe disc blue-ray acest catalog pentru cei care au nevoie de el. Expedierea se va face prin Posta de acea prefer sa trimit catre zona Arad, Timisoara datorita costurilor de transport.

De asemenea am si catalogul PPMXL si alte cataloage (GSC 1.1, USNO A2, UCAC2 si 3)
The PPMXL catalog of positions and proper motions on the ICRS. Combining USNO-B1.0 and the two Micron All Sky Survey (2MASS).

Insa in acest caz sunt obligat sa utilizez discuri Blue-ray de 50 GB care nu sunt chiar ieftine.
