Cateva chestii interesante:
- primara e compusa din "798 hexagonal 1.4 m mirror segments, each 50 millimetres thick."
- secundara are 4m diametru
- a doua secundara: 3.75m
- material primary/secondary: Not decided yet??
- optica adaptiva: 2.60 m adaptive M4 using 6 Laser Guide Stars, 6000 actuators that can distort its shape up to a thousand times per second.
- montura: Alt-Azimuth mount, oare n-au auzit ca apare rotatia campului?! CU un eq6 se scoteau ieftin.
- field of view one third of the width of the full Moon. Ce focala rezulta, asta daca nu cumva e o greseala?
Sa fie intr-un ceas bun, ca pana in 2020 mai e mult si bine.
