Sau macar sa intuiesti ca metanul solid sublimeaza in conditiile de pe Pluto, pana la echilibrarea presiunii de vapori ... Iar daca ESO nu ti se pare credibil, este si la NASA: Detection of a CH4 atmosphere on Pluto Detection of Gaseous Methane on Pluto Observations. Both solid and gaseous CH4 absorb in the near infra-red. At sufficiently high spectral resolution, it is possible to distinguish between these two phases because narrow rotation–vibration lines are present only in the gas phase.
