Precum Kit-urile de oglinzi sferice sunt mai ieftine decit cele parabolice , pe net:
200mm/F800mm spherica la 99-120$ 
150mm/F750mm spheric la 40-60$
114mm/F900mm spheric la 30-50$
3" 76mm f/11.8 la 11-20$
pentru incepatori ar fi un avantaj 
am gasit o informatie ,nu stiu cit e de practica , o pun  la discutie /dezbateri

Spherical mirrors can be pulled into a parabolic curve by a method known as flexing.  The result is often better than a polished parabolic mirror if done properly as parabolic mirror generally have a rough surface and spherical mirrors generally have a smooth surface.
