In o carte a lui Patrick Moore am aflat de existenta unui ocular specializat care pare foarte interesant.
Modelul de intensificator de imagine este promovat de multi ani de compania

Ceea ce este extraordinar e ca imaginile sunt reprezentate in timp real. Ocularul extinde spectrul vizual prin amplificarea frecventelor IR, ... ce sa mai zic.. vedeti pe site.

A. A tremendous amount,in fact the tube image is capable of displaying resolutions up to 64 line pairs per millimeter, that is .00062 inches or .016mm per line pair! (There are 1120 line pairs across the l8 mm phosphor screen.
