However the Point Grey USB cams dont use the standard Webcam interface, they are compliant with IIDC 1394 DCAM interface. The libdc1394 library thus uses libusb (specific versions are required for both libraries latest libs work fine) to communicate with the USB Point Grey Cameras. Thus, any command issued via the lidc1394 API is transmitted via USB and the Point Grey USB cameras understands this command

Cand incerci sa instalezi flycapture, ca sa fii sigur, pune in comanda calea completa unde ai despachetat 'install_flycapture.sh'. Dupa mesajul de eroare pare ca rulezi comanda in alt director.
De ex. 'sudo sh /home/iulian/flycapture/install_flycapture.sh' ...

Desigur, trebuie sa ai preinstalate toate bibliotecile dependente. Daca lipseste ceva incearca sa le instalezi manual, nu stiu daca ai reusit, dar nu are rost sa incerci mai departe fara.
