On July 19, 2009 a dark spot was discovered by Anthony Wesley from Canberra, Australia. This has been confirmed by Glenn Orton from JPL as an impact site. The site is located at approximately 216 degrees longitude in System 2, and is being imaged by the NASA Infrared Telescope.
